I've been on it since beta times with my old account, Detective09. Since then I've had to change my account because of hackers, but I still remain rare! Hahahaha!
Anyway, Let's review.
Animal
Jam is a 'beautifully illustrated' educational game for kids. Players are
called Jammers in this game, so to play it you have to create a 'Jammer'. There
is a small range of animals to start off with:
Tiger,
Wolf, Koala, Bunny, Seal, Penguin and Monkey. Then you go click next and it
takes you to the naming station. You have a wide range of names, mainly
adjectives and nouns, that you put together to make a single name that appears
on your player card. Afterwards, you move onto your personal and account
information. Little tip, Don't use any information from real life because it
most likely won't get accepted and you will be stuck with a name like
Jammer/Player5928. You finally get to play after you agree to some stuff and
take a little tour. You get to 1000 gems (money), to spend on clothes and items
for your house, so called 'den'. There is also a thing called 'non-member' and
'member' status. Members have a shiny funky nametag and more animals, such as a
kangaroo or fox. They also get some 'rare' and 'member only' clothes. In shops,
there are plenty of non-member items but they all look stuffy. Member items in
a shop have a little padlock around the bottom and a banner across the top
saying 'MEMBER'. Being a member, you get to buy them things and change the
colour of items. Members also get to buy amazeballs dens, as for non-members
are stuck with a small den. The system you use to get more things is called
trading. Trading is where you trade one item for another. Beware, you can get
scammed of your items. Common scams include Mailtime, It's my birthday,
Giveaways and Trust Trading (TT). After playing the game for a while and
trading plenty you can earn some rares. Rares are items that have a little
plaque on the bottom with 'RARE' engraved on it. Some rares can be deleted, or
recycled as Animal Jam calls it for gems. Some rares recycle for up to 1000
gems, others for 45 gems. Rares that are more expensive are called 'betas' from
the Beta Animal Jam. Beta Animal Jam is the old Animal Jam, where it was
classically illustrated and more simple. Some betas include Wooden Floor
(Non-member flooring), Skullies (Removed), Small Table and Top Hats. Then there
are really beta items, such as Tan Carpet and Planet Walls. Some famous
Jammers: Grimm5, Julian2, Powclan and Sparkykat38. Don't be fooled, though
these Jammers are rare they can still scam too. I met Powclan at a trading
party, doing a Mailtime Giveaway. I lost a few betas, and I was quiet sore, but
I didn't cry over it. Rares are just expensive pixels in a small, virtual world
full of animals.
So, Now
that you know what it is, let me explain this crusade.. program thing.
